SLC 500 modular systems provide separate power supplies which must be mounted directly on the left end of the 1746 I/O chassis. Seven power supplies are available to meet your system power requirements: three AC -input power supplies and four dc-input power supplies.

Each chassis requires a power supply (which connects to the chassis without a separate cable) to provide power to the processor and each I/O slot. Consider future system expansion when selecting a power supply. Power supply features and benefits include:
